Delivery of a water-jet boat by using ATA-carnet
5/2016
OOO Hacklin CIS (St.Petersburg) organized delivery of a water-jet boat from Finland to Saint-Petersburg, Russia. The boat was temporarily delivered to Russia as an exhibition shipment for the Baltic Marine Festival 2016 held from 24.5.2016 – 1.6.2016 in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
The boat was transported by road, and the loaded vehicle had the following dimensions: 4,50 m (height) x 3 m (width) x 18,50 m (length). Required permissions for execution of the oversized transport were arranged, and ATA-carnet procedures were organized smoothly both in Finland and in Russia.
The ATA Carnet is an international customs document that permits the duty-free and tax-free temporary export and import of goods for up to one year. The Initials “ATA” are an acronym of the French and English words “Admission Temporaire/Temporary Admission”.
ATA Carnets covers:
- Commercial samples
- Professional equipment
- Goods for presentation or use at trade fairs, shows, exhibitions and the like.
If you can name it and it is not consumable or perishable, then it can probably be covered by an ATA Carnet.
Mr. Igor Tsarikov, Regional Manager of Alamarin-Jet:
“We would like to thank Hacklin for precise and accurate work in respect of delivery and customs clearance of our oversized water-jet boat from Finland to Saint-Petersburg (Russia) and its return to Finland after the exhibition in the shortest possible time!”
