Support for children and young people’s health!
We are part of the support team for children and young people’s health! 🌟👶🏽🏥 A dedicated student from Haminan kaupunki – Hamina Town’s local school embarked on a day of labor, transforming effort into charity. In one day, the student got acquainted with the interesting world of logistics, had the opportunity to build packages, participated in a warehouse tour, and even got to ride in a warehouse forklift 😀🔼
The proceeds from the Lastenklinikoiden Kummit ry / The Association of Friends of the University Children’s Hospitals’ Academic Year 23–24 day labor collection will be directed to the work in support of small patients. The day labor collection is a great opportunity for children and young people to learn about responsibility and to help their peers.
Since 1993, the Association has been supporting the best possible care for children and young people nationwide. It supports five university pediatric clinics and hospitals in Kuopio, Oulu, Tampere, Turku, and Helsinki, ensuring that any child or young person in Finland can receive treatment when necessary.
Donations are used to support nationwide pediatric research, the development of treatment methods, and patient comfort. In recent years, the Association has also focused concretely on children’s and young people’s mental health through various treatment programs. The organization raises funds together with private donors, companies, and communities.
Together with the Lastenklinikoiden Kummit ry / The Association of Friends of the University Children’s Hospitals, we can make miracles happen!
