On 1st of April 2019 Hacklin acquired a 20000m2 heated storage terminal, built in 2005. The free height of the terminal is 10 m and it is equipped with 41 loading ramps. There is also a drive-in possibility for larger vehicles into the terminal.

Otto Werner Hacklin established the company together with his brother Emil Hacklin on 28th of December 1908.
To celebrate the 110 year anniversary we had a small coffee event for our personnel on Friday 4th of January 2019.

General Director of OOO Hacklin CIS (St. Petersburg) Alexander Karmanov spoke at a conference on customs and logistics, jointly organized by the Russian-German Foreign Trade Chamber and the Finnish-Russian Chamber of Commerce. The event was held on December 6, 2018 in St. Petersburg.
In his speech, Alexander Karmanov highlighted the problems arising during the transportation and customs clearance of disassembled goods shipped to the territory of the Russian Federation.
The conference reviewed also the latest changes in customs legislation, technical regulation and current issues of logistics industry. Participants were able to discuss the main problems of applying new customs rules, receive comments and practical advices from government experts, and share their experiences and opinions with other representatives of the business community.

On 30th of October 2018 representatives of Hacklin’s offices in Moscow and Saint-Petersburg attended “River Shipping of Russia 2018” – conference, which were arranged in Rostov-on-Don, Russia.
The conference discussed development and volume of river traffic in Russia, its competitiveness compared to rail and road transport, condition of waterway structure, navigation features in various ports of Russia, attractiveness of sea-river transport for cargo owners.
