Oy Hacklin Hamiko Ltd corresponds to changing of material flow

During the past couple of years Hamiko’s clientele has changed from consumer goods producers to manufacturers of machineries and equipment. In addition customs clearance and transportation of production devices to factories built into CIS-countries started to play an important role in Hamiko’s business activities.

More than five years ago Hamiko predicted future changes and developed own operations and facilities to respond to the upcoming changes. Cost level and requirements for facilities designed for handling and storage of different types of machineries and devices could be much lower than expenses and requirements set for facilities needed for handling and storage of consumer goods, for example consumer electronics. In addition handling and transportation requirements differ a lot.

Handling and lashing of oversized cargo is under control

Due to increased volume of railway transportations, share of lashing services has been continually growing. To respond to this growing demand Hamiko has established own lashing department. Moving lashing unit is able to serve various production and loading points within the territory of Finland, - says Hamiko’s Operational Manager Mr. Pasi Luoma. Hamiko has received quality guidance from the veterans of this field and got familiar with the latest working techniques. First job assignments have been successfully completed and we are looking forward to future increasing of goods’ flow, - emphasizes Mr. Luoma.

Via specialization to competition

Middle-sized forwarding company as Hamiko is able to manage only by continuous specialization and offering of tailor-made solutions, that’s why we have to make sure that our services are timely and their quality is high. Cargo lashing services combined with Hamiko’s traditional service pallet guarantee overall workable entirety, - comments Managing Director Mr. Hannu Pesonen.

Share of project forwarding services in Hamiko’s turnover has been constantly growing. According to a number of received inquiries we are expecting a busy summer and fall, - continues Mr. Pesonen.
