Hacklin acquires business activities of Stella Logistics

Oy Hacklin Ltd and Stella Logistics Oy Ltd (part of Stella Group) have agreed on an arrangement, where all business activities of Stella Logistics Oy Ltd are transferred to Oy Hacklin Ltd's fully owned new daughter company Oy Hacklin Logistics Ltd from 01.07.2010. The transaction does not include the seller's direct or indirect ownership of any properties or other activities of Stella Group, which will continue their operations as before. Stella Logistics will also continue its daily business and customer service normally without any interruptions. Customers will be informed of any possible changes to current business practices well beforehand.

Pasi Kuusijärvi, currently Managing Director of Stella Logistics Oy Ltd, has been appointed to Managing Director of Oy Hacklin Logistics Ltd on the same date. The personnel of Stella Logistics Oy Ltd is transferred to the new company as old employees.

The core of Stella Logistics' business is consisting of strong know-how and experience in land-, sea-, and air transportation, specializing in demanding global project forwarding and logistics for Finnish originated export industry. With this acquisition Hacklin is, according to its strategy, strengthening and widening its capabilities to offer more comprehensive logistic services to our clients. It is the intention of both parties (Stella- and Hacklin-companies) to co-operate in areas where we can offer the best and most competitive logistical solutions.
